Analysis of transit-oriented development
Weston Williamson and Partners engaged Mark to complete an urban integration study of CrossRail 2 for Transport for London.
The study entailed analysis of 14 proposed mainline stations and their London settings in preparation for the 2017 consultation with local communities. The work involved analysis of urban fit in terms of over-site development recommendations on preferred location of station entrances and exits, tunnel portals, shafts, depots and construction worksites for the tunnelled sections of the rail scheme. The report also reviewed proposed surface interchange requirements.
